WebAbout This Listing. This is a beautiful Martin Blackwell double top concert guitar. Scale length: 650 mm Sound board: Cedar nomex core double top. Back and sides: Madagascar rosewood. Sides are doubled, lined with what appears to be maple. Half-raised ebondy fingerboard. This has been my concert guitar for about 2 years, but now needs to be sold. WebCONTACT Martin Blackwell studied guitar building in Vancouver with noted luthier Michael Dunn, from whom he learned traditional hand building techniques originating in 19th century Spain. Blackwell's building style has refined itself into one that incorporates respect for tradition with an eye toward the future.
