They are one of the best OEM heads to use. They came 2 ways, on the 302 they had 7/16" head bolt holes and on 351W, they had 1/2" head bolt holes. There are special washers available to use the 351 heads on the 302. Everything else is the same as far as port and valve sizes.

Shape the intake valve guide boss so it curves with the port and points towards the port opening. 2. Make the back of the boss (towards the bowl) taper to a point, like a teardrop. If I was a bit mroe patient in the build I would have cleaned up the intake side a little, but I didn't feel it was necessary for my power level (~400 HP). I run long tube 1.75" into 3" headers.
